A boutique... with reach. Arisaig Partners is an independent, employee-owned, investment management company established in October 1996. We are long only, absolute return in style. Our focus is exclusively on listed consumer sector businesses in emerging markets. Given our depth of experience and research capability, we regard ourselves as leaders in the consumer sector. Our flagship Asia Fund was launched in 1997; our Africa Fund in 2005; and our Latin America pilot fund (not yet open to third party investors) in 2009. We employ 34 people half of whom are located in Singapore (our head office). The others are based in our research offices in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Dubai, Buenos Aires and the United Kingdom. Eighteen of our staff are investment professionals. Between us we have more than 120 years of experience in covering consumer companies in emerging markets and have undertaken over 14,000 meetings with target investee companies over the past fifteen years. The founders continue to lead the investment process. Our investors are, in the main, institutional and include US, European and Asian endowment funds, foundations, pension funds and family offices. When it comes to investing, we take a long term view. We look for clients who do likewise.
